Infants, Toddlers and Preschool Children
(Up to Age 4)
I provide speech and language assessment and therapy to support early communication development.
This includes support with:
Expressive language (language use): communicating needs, using more gestures and words, combining words and increasing phrase length and use of grammar.
Receptive language (understanding language): following directions, answering questions, understanding vocabulary and concepts.
Social Language (interaction) and play: developing turn taking ability, communicating for a variety of reasons, increasing length and type of play.
Speech (how we sound when we talk): articulation, stuttering, motor speech.
School Age Children
(Speech Support Only)
I provide assessment and therapy focused specifically on speech skills for school age children.
This includes support with:
Articulation: how individual sounds are produced. Example: Support with production of the /s/ sound.
Phonology: supporting patterns of speech sound errors. Example: supporting a student who turns all /r/ sounds to a /w/ sound.
Motor Speech: planning and coordinating speech movements to increase clarity.
Stuttering: supporting stuttering advocacy, confidence building, and smoother speech.
